Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

usually the bearings will go in the turbo. not the whole housing.

being you rebuilt the motor, yea there will be metal shavings and shit. if they didnt tell u how many times to change your oil, they just dont care about your motor.

after a rebuild u get about a case of oil. and cheap oil to and fram filters.

when u first start up the car run it for 2-3 hrs. then shut if off, drain the oil and take off the filter.

u do the same at 500 miles and at 1000 miles. then you change your oil normally.

my conclusion is to use motor flush for about 2 hrs, then drain that oil out. rebuild this turbo. and put a inline oil filter.

This thread is closed. Simha1 could not keep his mouth shut after my post, so was banned for a couple days.

If the owner of the post wants to post his actual findings to the root cause of this failure, then PM me and I will reopen/add the post for you. Otherwise, there is no reason to keep this open anymore. I also removed the non value added posts in this thread.
