Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    turbo gurus

hey i have been boosted for about a year and a half and am very pleased with my setup and the f22a6,tdo5h16g is running amazing. I want to add additives to my oil and my radiator but im scared that when they run through the turbo it will mess it up. i am running coolant to the turbo to keep the temp down. i wanted to run the royal purple coolant additive. would it be safe? thanks in advance.

i would say screw all additives. My concern wouldn't be what the additives would do to the turbo but more what they would do to the motor. Idk first hand, but they might change viscocity or something slightly. Oil already has everything your motor needs for lubrication. If something had to be added to the mix, then I think it would have been suggested by Honda for all their cars.

royal purple additives are good. I would suggest either those or bg products.
