Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    And to answer your question, T3-t4 uses a different flange than the DSM 14b/16g

        are you asking for specefic specs on the DSM turbos?

        because t3/t4 covers a broad range of trubochargers

              no it isnt. only if its a dsm "t25" turbo. dsm isnt t25 though.

              http://www.jgsturbo.com/tif.html

              STD T25 (top center) is the way a t25 flange looks.

              DSM (lower left) is a perfect circle.

              def different.

                  what exactly are you asking? the pic says exactly what it is. unless you are just asking in general what a dsm turbo is... its a turbo that came on a DSM (diamond star motor) vehicle such as an eclipse or talon with a turbocharged engine.

                    jesus you need a lot of help. im not really sure what you are asking at this point. t3 and t4 is a style/flang on the turbo exhaust inlet. its a flange. you can click std t3 flange on that link.

                    dsm turbos are from eclipse/talons/jdm evo's blah blah blah. its there own styled flange.

                    my suggestion is to really just start reading, cuz at this point, i dont even know what you are trying to ask after i clearly showed you the differences between a t3, t4, and dsm flanged turbo.

                        its none. its a dsm flange. that link even says, "TD05 DSM/T25" then clearly states that the t25 is dsm specific. i mean really? that link provided, you couldnt tell the differences in the flanges? they are all diff.

                            whatev man, i did help, i was clear in what i posted, and you asked the same question over again. really though, i would def read through the F/I forum to help get an understanding of what you are getting involved in. this isnt to sound mean and know youre new, but if you need help with flanges already, you have some reading to do.
