That would be the same thing as when a dyno shop uses a sniffer.

I don't like to place it there because there are way too many variables. Different resonators will "filter" the afrs differently, as will the mufflers. Don't even get me started on the cats. Those just completely change afr readings as I'm sure everyone knows.

I like to use it on the dyno only when it's the only thing available, but only because I like to look at a graph. If the option of putting it in the downpipe is there, I'll always choose that over this.

Not many tuners actually use that there device.

lol his name is mike. it probly is him the damn thig ran 12.3 spinning 7 rod bearings and he oiled down the track. this was the story i always got from him last year i would call him and was like well what did it run he would say well i got this on the 60ft and i didnt even make it to the 8th or he would just make it to the 8th mile i told him he needed a honda

ya man if he gets his motor back together by then i whent over there last saterday and it was in peaces. he is hoping to run 10.5 or so on the bottle , running a 75 shot and when imports vs. demesticks rolls around he is running a 250 so he will run like low 9 hi 8s but it is not who wins or loses lol. hell his car might break down so u will probly win

well lots of progress today!

first got my parts back from precision engine! Thanks Jan!!!

Resurfaced and cleaned head:


Bung welded to oil pan for turbo return:


Installed my ARP Head studs and Felpro Headgasket:


Installed Intake Manifold with all new gaskets:


installed oil pan, and timing belt!
then I played...and set the snail and 1 charge piping up:


ooo its getting so close i can feel it.
Sunday is dedicated to getting the exhaust mani, snail and all boost oil lines setup. then clean and paint tranny...awaiting flywheel and clutch!

no rush, cause I love just staring at this baby. But is gunna be sexy when I get it in the car!

anyways it looks awsome i had to mail thows mounts to myself... it was the only time i ever had to mail something to myself LOL it almost cost asmuch and i gave u for the mounts ... cant wait to get them and put them on

haha I hear ya man...but for like the first 4 years of the military the pay kinda sucks! so with that in mind...good luck! I been in 7 now! another downside..I am in a small room for 24 hours, nothing to do but answer phones!
life is great. yah i wish you coulda seen it like this in person. My next build is gunna be more fun. Total build!

are you gettin ALL your signing bonus or half then portions?
surprised they are even giving bonus' these days!

still working!

well still working, but here is what I have done so far today:

got fenders with lining back in.
got headlights back in
got front bumper back on

new fuel filter installed
p/s custom work:

I removed power steering but I wanted to keep a reservoir for the rack and VSS. Got a coutch reservoir from the junkyard. I placed a "T" in 2 of the lines , removed the high press hose and replaced that spot on the rack with a bung plug.(size to come later)
