For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Do you still have that 14b? if you do I have good advise for you
yah I got 2 14b's leftover. but they are cracked. I dont wanna keep em.
My bro might use em to make me something decorative.

I would rather boost my current H23 and buy another just so I can have more HP. Cause I know the H23 has a lot less miles than the F22.

Ok. One 14b would be enought for decorative, just dont hang them on your rear view mirror

The other 14b will be good candidate for converting into big 16g or evo III 16, 18g 20g and so on.

Basiclly what you need from 14b is CHRA catridge.

Things you need to buy to convert to big 16g or Evo III big 16g.

        Super beck rebiuld kit.

Evo III compressor housing and wheel.

        Turbine housing 7mc^2
        http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/dsm-e...spagenameZWDVW

assuming your exhaust wheel is in good condition, take that and compressor wheel to turbine rebuild service and have them balance it together.

I'm not going to comment anything on what engine to use, cuz I know you got that h23 build head that you are itching to use.

just an idea this will fit 14b CHRA also,
I'm trying to make it work with having external wastegate, and beauty of this subaru compressor housing is that you can have any DSM turbo manifold you wish for

right now my plan is to put the ported big 16g on the h23.
Then buy another H23 for the HX35(which is not purchased yet).
That second H23 will be a complete and total build for the boost HX35 tho.

Advantages of this is to have boost for this summer with H23 and
next summer have a fuly built H23 boosted with a better snail.

Hope that answers your questions. But yah Im addicted and miss boost!

nice to hear man. im still iffy on which route to go. right now im still trying to get my suspension and engine right for now. just a tad bit more power for the time being(50hp shot when i get some money saved up) and ill be good. then next year when i pick up another DD, ill set this one down as a project car.

but once i do, no pics, no clues, no nothing til its finished.

                        DSM going in!

I am buying another H23 in the summertime to do a complete boost build!

Decision made to DSM boost this H23!

Just finished grinding the block to fit it!

next: replace water pump, oil pump, timing belt, and battery relocation
then: clean engine up but not going to paint or do a wire tuck! Save this for my next engine!

here are a few pics before cleaning: (dont mind the temporary bolts that arent fully seated)

I can not wait to get this done!

Looking good sir! I too have been toying with the idea of boosting an h23.

                              Time will tell.

And I know a guy with a tuned turbo f22 too.

How long until you think you can get this motor in the car?

you should swap heads so you can run more boost with a dohc on the f series block you have everything you need right there the numbers on your hp will be much higher. A extra cam can make a difference
IF IT AIN'T BOOSTED IT'S SLOW!
