Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    I Want To Go Turbo.

    These Is What I Have:
    -f22a1
    -h23/f22a6 Mani (2spacer)
    Not Installed Yet
    -h23 Plenum/h22 Throttle Body
    -short Ram Intake

    In 2 Or 3 Days I'll Get
    -dsm Mani(from A Friend)
    -dsm 14b Turbo(from A Friend)

    What Else Do I Need.
    Some Help, Some Info

        Some Help, Some Info
        Serarching will help you moreso than anyone telling you what you need.
        Most of us who decided to go turbo searched everything we needed for 6 months, searched and found all the extra unknown bits for another 2 months, Then spent 6 months building it all, to find we needed even more bits.

        However, parts you'll need to get you started:

        Turbo & Manifold
        Turbo oil feed and return lines
        Tuned ECU - A Must
        BOV
        Suitable wastegate
        Intercooler and piping
        Exhaust
        Injectors
        A motor with good compression

        Time and money . . .

        Also The 14B is a good place to start, however It would be worthwhile getting the 16G instead. Or you can change it out later on and get it retuned.
        Its more of a preference thing, but most ppl have ended up upgrading to the 16G from the 14B.

          ok do i need to change the internals of the f22a1 for 16g turbo? ppl here have DSM setup only a few show how the did it or what the use i did use the seach and learn but there is more i want to know i have a book from school i was going to and there is info about turbos still there tunin info i need like software hondata crome ect. ecu p28/p06 what else i like this challenge all i ask and talk is turbo i like it i want it and i will get it just need some pointers. thanks !!

            Not to be a dick good sir, but this isn't the beginner section, so searching is in your best interest.

            Check out the turbo diy thread that is stickied here, it will help you out a lot.

            Check out some member's ride threads that are turbo too, those can be a good place to get info.

            But, yes, you can run stock internals on a 16g, it is what I run and what I have.
