Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    blown turbo???

    dude i dont know what the hell is going on with this car. today i went to start it up and the turbo is making weird sounds. its like whining on idle. but not a constant whine. its like... whine...............whine.................whine. like a spun bearing. ill get a vid clip up.

    also the a/f is all over the place.

    nevermind. my charge pipe shot out. and it was only 7psi of boost.


    lesson learned. never run hose clamps on a boosted car. t-clamps only!

          Ah, I imagine that would be alright, haha. Just didn't want you to ruin all that hard work by going into boost untuned! Hey, what can I say? I care about my fellow CB7Tuners!

            thanks bro for the support. yea i just drove it already like .1 mile. its just in and out and back her up my alley. it wont let me go past 3k right now in gear. i think its a tunning issue. so im being very careful about this car.

                    Mitsu's have built in restrictors. You may have starved the turbo of oil.

                              never got the kit. same day bought another turbo for 75. the other turbo starved oil. i never opened the restrictor.
