Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    THATS RIGHT!!!! the boost project has started today. I just said FUCK IT!! and said im startin today so i did Pictures will be up later with progress made. I have only been workin on it for about 3 hours so not much is done yet but the point is im on my way Oh yeah im also doin my h23 intake manifold swap too so there will be pictures on that also. So far ive gotten my exhaust manifold and intake manifold off. My oil pan tapped, my oil feed line put on, my turbo mani redrilled and test fitted, and i will be grinding down the block here in a few to fit the turbo.

    BTW im doin a f22a1 dsm turbo setup so everyone knows. WISH ME LUCK!! And of course pictures will be constantly updated hopefully everyday but i will be atleast checking in everyday.

    ım excıted for ya, ı loved ıt when I started my dsm setup. whıch route are you goıng 14b or bıg 16g?

    I lıke the 14b but I wanna go to a bıg 16g laters.

    and ıf your wonderıng esp tractıon bars wıth the dsm setups you can use the prelude ones, has the front mount over a couple ınches. from what I was told. So we need a bracket made but we stıll have the optıon for a front mount wıth thıs kıt.

      at the moment i will be runnin the 14b but in a couple months when my friend upgrades to a 20g on his talon i get his big 16g. Cant wait. The 14b be is gonna be there to break it in and the 16g is gonna tear it apart lol. I plan on this motor lasting no more then 6 months if that since it does have 278,000 miles on it, but the thing is is that it has no oil leaks and it doesn't burn oil and i get 27 mpg(its a cb9 so i dont get as good of gas mileage as you coupe and sedan guys.) And plus, the faster this motor blows the sooner my H23 goes in hahahaha

          manifold redrilled.....i redrilled almost all the holes to make an easier fit


          14b turbo with oil feed line and j pipe on

                        not sure ıf ıts just me but your tapped oıl pan looks lıke ıts to far to the drıvers sıde of the vehıcle. are you makıng sure there ısnt gunna be any kınks between the turbo and oıl pan?

                        thıs ıs just what I see tho maybe my eyes are beıng weırd today.

                        mıne ıs pretty far over and falls straıght down looks lıke your gunna have a S bend ın your lınes. Please tell me Im wrong tho.

                        dıd you already do motor mounts/clutch/dıstrıbutor for ıgnıtor? just curıous!

                        otherwıse hell yah H23 and turbo your gunna feel some GRIP thats for sure!

                          mounts and clutch yes....distributor was changed no longer then a month ago so i should be good on that. On the pan, honestly im not sure at the moment but if it is i have 2 other pans i can tap. I guess ill learn the hard way lol

                              Sweet man,mine has been finished for a couple weeks now,and its fun..Good luck,and I think that oil return may be a little to close to the driverside as well..You'll find out soon,though...Best of luck.
