Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

A desoldering braid is a very useful tool.

If ECUs are hard to come by, you can always practice soldering and desoldering on other electronic things. Old TV remotes, old computer parts, etc...

I did some more research, and I realized that the P12 from the Prelude F22A never came into our discussions in this thread. Is this because the P06 > P12 for SHOC non-vtec non-IABs? I read that the P12 is a decent upgrade over the PT3.

The P12 is very similar to the P13 if I remember correctly, so mods and tuning equipment used for a P13 can be done to a P12.

The P12 is an upgrade for an f22a1, once you have IAB's, and a different camshaft, or different compression it all goes out the window. The gains found in the P12 I believe are completely ignition and fuel related changes meant for performance over economy. Also the P12 and the P13 aren't really considered tunable, and hence the reason everyone flocks to the p06,p28,p72, and also due to their abundance and availability.

This should open your eyes: http://wikitest.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/...ibrary/WebHome

Once you've looked through that, if your interested in finding out more, their forum is also loaded with a bunch of useful information.
