Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I've never used such a chip, and I've never stuck my dick in a blender. Neither is something I would ever do, and I'm quite certain I know the outcome of either scenario.

No chip should ever be installed in your car unless it is custom tuned for YOUR engine.

I take that as a NO. Nobody here has installed one of these Power Chips. I do not get the Dick analogy? It guess depends on how long your Dick is!

Give it a try man. And let us know how it turns out. Who knows, it may actually be worth it.

He sells two different chips the A12C7 and The A12A9 the C7 is for the A01 or L01 ECU and the A9 is for the A00 or L01 ECU. The A00 ECU is more like the JDM Version of the ECU according to the code and the A01 is U.S. Spec. That is what the seller told me. Now the chip can be bought for $40.00 with a Coupon on the website. Humm? I do have an extry P12 that I can play with.

You might want to ask if anyone has a spare F22A while you're at it. That chip could potentially blow the motor up.

Plus, the P12 is tuned pretty well from the factory. There's not much more power to get out of a stock F22A1, and any mods will most certainly render whatever tune is on the aftermarket chip invalid. Unless the ECU is specifically programmed for the setup it's meant to run, it's not going to be worth a damn, and could do damage.

And yeah, I suppose the dick in the blender analogy was a bad one... I could stick my dick in a running blender and be totally safe!

Yes I agree, there is not any Info to support the claims, plus is it a drag tune, road racing tune, what parameters were changed? now if I had received some positive feedback, dyno plots or any other evidence then maybe it would have been something to try. I am happy with my current MPG to power ratio (30MPG AVG).

I also don't know anyone that has "cracked" the P12's code. That's why we normally use the P06 for the F22A. That's been cracked. cloudasc has been working with the PT3 and PT6, and has essentially "cracked" those.

When using a "custom chip", the base ECU matters very little. This guy's chips should be as usable on a PT3 as they are on a P12. Since he says P12, that alone makes me wonder how competent he is.
