Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    ecu chipping in ohio

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone knows of a tuning and chipping shop near or somewhat close to kent Ohio. I have the ecu and chip kit I just need someone to chip it. If no one knows of a place id pay to send it to one of you guys to do it if the price is right. Thanks.

Asking in the appropriate regional forum would be better than wasting our time in this section. This site is worldwide... people that aren't from the Ohio area really don't care to read this.

chipping isn't difficult i just did my own, but a local friend chips and tunes alot of turbo cars and recently has been plagued with a bunch of our n/a track cars, hes north of youngstown, in the warren area. he also does base map/ street tuning to get you set for dyno... he does not have a dyno but he will tune on a dyno if you pay for the dyno time.

PM if interested, although if looking for a one stop shop where you can just leave the car, the place listed above may be a better bet.

also, Hutter, does alot of race engines, recently had a type-r race car tuned there, not sure of program choice though as the type-r was running hondata

Click around the forums that Ohio MIGHT fit in, and see which ones have threads about Ohio in them. There are a lot of guys from Ohio here... and MOST of them have found the proper section to post in regarding their regional topics.
