Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    OBD0 Basemaps using BRE

I chipped my buddies pw0, Setup ZIF with 28 pin and datalogging.

I need to know a few things.
-He says he can rev to 9k, whatever I do rev limiter hits 7k. (even when warm)
How do I get this to raise?
    -What is revrestart?
    -VTEC disengages a lil late.
-What is VTEC disengage ( butterflies)?

My first time, wondering if anyone has set something up on a b16?
    Thanks guys!

I've never used BRE before but:

Are the fuel and ignition tables fully mapped out to 9000k?
Is there any sort of fuel/ignition cut parameters in place that could be affecting it? - Such as overboost, injector duty cycle cut etc?

Not sure what revrestart is, but the name suggests that it could be related?

      Fuel goes to 7200
But VTEC fuel goes to 8900

so yah, I am a little confused.
Guess as long as VTEC kicks in it should take over at that point,
sort like low cam, high cam.

Dude has a CEL, he prob needs to fix that.
Gunna head back over to see what I can work out.

But any ideas on the 2 different fuel tables?

Low fuel table needs to be mapped out to 9000k as well as VTEC table.
I don't know why, but other software acts funny if you don't have them matched.

I guess its a safety thing - Imagine Vtec engaged, then for what ever reason it disengaged - The map would have no tables to read from as it would be over the rpm of the Low fuel/ignition maps.
