Has anyone been able to run a Neptune Chipped p28 for a Automatic H22A? I read that Neptune Chipped p28 work on automatics. But I wanted to make sure they worked on a automatic H22 before I drop like 550 bucks for one.

Why the fuck do you want to drop $550 for a generic ECU tune?
Call the company and ask them. They'd tell you better than we would. Honestly, I'd find a tuner that knows what he's doing, pay $50 for a P28, $25 for a chipping kit, and have the tuner tune the ECU for your specific engine. Chances are, it'll cost you less than $550, and it'll be done right for your specific engine... not just some generic overpriced chip.

Simply run your motor on the P13 until yu can get a chipped P28 tuned for YOUR motor as Deev said . And I'm willing to bet you wont pay $550 . (From what I heard , Hondata is the best and that tune isn't that expensive) Getting some generally chipped ECU is not good for your motor , as I learned the hard way .

Chrome is shiny. Crome is a tuning package.
A P06 will not work for an H22 unless it is converted to a P28.
The main ECU options are P28 and P72 (which gives you control over the IAB)
Neptune isn't some fancy full EMS. It's quite similar to the Hondata S300... just an extra board added to the ECU. Personally, if you're going to add hardware, I say get a FULL engine management system... but if you're not going to be building an engine and using the car for anything that requires such control, there's really no point.
Whether or not you're tuning an automatic or manual doesn't matter in terms of being worthwhile. Automatics have plenty of potential if modified correctly.

Well I was going to continue to search around for a good price. But it seems not alot of programs out there don't do automatics. And I thought the NepTune Neptune-RTP Demon was said to be pretty good. Will crome work on automatics?Last edited by Accord Euro R; 04-13-2011, 12:18 AM.

I'm really just looking for an ECU that will work correctly with my setup. I dont have an H22 but a F20b thats much like an h22. I have a p13 ecu running on my cb7 right now and its running too lean and my car idle up and down because of it and i cant pass emmission on top of that. Go figure a car running too clean.

And running lean doesn't mean it is running clean. It won't pass emissions because it is running incorrectly.
If it is running lean enough to notice, it's probably running lean enough to do damage to the engine. The P13 will usually run an H22 on the rich side... so chances are good that it's running the F20B fairly rich as well.
So basically, you're looking to spend $550 for a generic ECU tune for an engine that isn't the same as the one in your car now? If the H22's P13 won't run it properly, why would a Neptune tune for an H22 be any better? That might actually cause significant damage!
