Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    f22a1 high compression basemap

i just finished my build this week and i need a basemap to atleast get me to a tuner, if anyone could help me out with one that would be great!

my mods are bisi 12:1 86mm pistons, 3 in exhaust, stage 2 bisi cam, h23 intake mani, dc header with 2.5" collector mod and stock injectors for now

I can send you a modified stock map. I am going to put a low rev limit cause I know how tempting it might be to let her rip.

Post up your dyno results please! My build plans are very similar except with the bisi header and full porting of the head & IM so your numbers should give me a good idea of whether I'll meet my 220 whp goal or not.

that would be cool, and yea it will be real tempting....just cant wait till its finally tuned! and yea ill post the results as soon as its done, i just gotta post my build thread then ill just keep updating.

fyi- i know its dumb but im breaking in the motor on my old tune....but i dont even pass 3k rpm, no matter how tempting it is, its not worth messing this build up

Well if you know it's dumb why do it? IMO that is the wrong way to break in a motor anyway, and that's not just becuase it's the wrong tune. The piston rings require deceleration pressure to help them seat, driving around under 3k isn't going to break anything in properly. If you don't want to mess the build up, why not look into breaking it in on the dyno?

Because I still need more than half of the money to dyno it......times if rough right now especially when ur getting kicked out of your house and forced to find another place for your kids and wife....

Sorry to hear about your current family issues and I wish you and yours all the best.

Is the Accord your family transportation? Maybe you could sell the parts and buy something more reliable for the family to rely on.

Its actually an ej1 with the swapped f22 in it, and yea its my source of transportation but I should have the money for the tune in about a month and a half, depending on the overtime...but its all good tho, and thanks ghost for the good luck bro.

send me an email address. X2 on what gost said about sealing the rings. As soon as I see that a motor runs good and has no leaks, I go out and give it hell. WOT on up to 5 k or so and then coast until its slowed down and repeat.
