Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Speed Lag

I have a f22b1 with a p28 ecu, my question is why my car wouldnt go anymore once i hit 100mph when before i use to go past that with no problems, also recently i removed the cruise control, what could effect this speed issue

That p28 is chipped? If it's chipped have the tune checked. If it's not chipped, that's more then likely your problem.

I agree with having your ecu checked. Im currently running a chipped po6 on my f22b1 and it runs damn good and gets past 100 mph no problem. When I first put in the motor and had to drive it home, I had to use my old ecu from my h23 and it really ran like crap.It was very sluggish and slow.I didnt drive it until I got the po6.So I agree in checking your ecu.

has this problem been fixed ? if not, is the car a automatic ? just wanting to know if it runs out of gear ? if it does its not shifting out properly .a po6 would be a good replacement for your ECU.( I wish we got a update on threads , to see if the problem has been resolved.)
