so yesterday i ordered a p12 ecu. it came out of the f22 5 speed prelude. my question is because the ecu is made for a manual will it still run properly in my auto cb or will it throw any codes or anything? thanks for the help in advance.

i had the opposite AT in my MT it ran fine but if anything i still got the AT p12 n its up for sell lol2004 Accord Sedan CM6 (daily)

I have a P12 MT in my AT Accord. So far, zero shifting problems. The person who sold it to me advised against it because he could not guarantee the AT would downshift, but it works fine with no hassles. Engine has 264k miles on it, reads a comp test average of 138psi with a variance between cylinders of + or - 5psi, and makes 108hp 117lbs/ft at the wheels. I'm running a mostly stock F22A4 with ghetto-rigged short-ram and full-length mandrel-bent 2.25" exhaust (measured the pipe before and after the cat) with dual-outlet muffler.
Note: I did a dyno run a while back, but lost all the data about it. I remember comparing the PT3 with a P12. PT3 on my Accord showed 94hp 86lbs/ft and the P12 showed 108hp 117lbs/ft, but again, I have an F22A4 with a full-length 2.25" mandrel-bent exhaust, cat, dual-outlet muffler with internal baffles instead of fiberglass insulation, and a ghetto-rigged short-ram. Basically an F22A1 with full I/H/E. I might finish off by putting an F22A6/Bisi L1 cam in this bitch and see how she goes then.Last edited by otacon122; 09-29-2010, 09:33 PM.

it shouldnt change anything at all as far as the trans goes because i think the trans runs on it own TCU (transmission control unit) so the only thing the ecu would change is fuel and spark tables and such right? i think soo
