Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Chipped p06 CEL 14 problem

    90 accord auto
    PT3 oem ecu
    chipped P06 ecu (currently testing)
    Tuning Program Free Crome
    Vtec turned off
Alright...I personally chipped my p06 manual ecu (Don't worry I didn't even thing about driving it)...burned with crome f23a bin.
The car starts perfectly and stays idling above 1000rpms
the ecu throws a number 14 code (IAC) and it revs very slugglish

If I reinstall my pt3 ecu, there is no code and the car runs like a champ

    Please help

    F23A1 SOHC VTEC
    F22A4 SOHC NON VTEC

Think that could be an issue?

I would stick with the pt3 just so you don't harm anything.

    My .02
    3 CB's gone....
    1 WK Overland....

Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

Regardless the curve of ign/fuel is still different..and the bin might just be corrupted..

        Try this

Click on tools..up top..then scroll down to misc...there is only one sub-tab there..its IACV ENABLE/DISABLE...try disabling it..then reburn the map..and see if u still get the cel..if u still get the cel..ur chipping job needs some looking at

I even created another p30 basemap without vtec and same problem
I'm going to try another iacv and see if I get a code

I found the problem...something just told me to cut the J1 and see what happens...the No cel anymore....so I further my troubleshooting my removing the two capacitors and the resistor from the board and I left the NTE74HC373 Latching IC in...I reconnected J1 and boom...CEL came back...I cut J1 and CEL is gone...that concludes that NTE74HC373 needs to be replaced
