Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I'm pretty sure the PT6 is a non chipable ECU. What are you needing one for? Also if your engine is an F22A6 you have the PT6. If it's a A1 or A4 you have a PT3.

You need a OBD1 Civic / Integra ecu to chip.

You need either a p06, p75, p72, p28, and im sure there are others. Those are the only ECUs off the top of my head that can be chipped.

F22 Prelude I think, early 90s. Or search the for sale forms.

Just get a P06 out of a Civic .... cheap and easy.

                        PT6 is not chipable

if you have a 92-93 EX, with a F22a6, the P12 is useless. it does not activate the butterflies in the a6's intake manifold like the PT6 does.

Why are you asking such simple beginner questions in the big kid section?
                            SEARCH.
Your questions have been asked and answered dozens and dozens of times before. A simple search would have given you the answers without making you look lazy to the rest of us. If you're too damn lazy to find out something this simple, why should we spoonfeed you the information here, in the advanced section?
If you're going to start posting up in the advanced section, you're going to have to start using your brain and the search function.
