Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

a p06 chipped and tuned with headers is good.
just gotta remember it is all in the tune and you gotta use a reputable tuner.

you can not just get a basemap and throw it on there and expect the car to be perfect.

it is true- tuning is not cheap so good luck my friend!

yes, it will do damage. it is designed to run a tiny civic engine! use common sense

why does the speed limiter bother you? you are planning on driving at 120mph+ in a CB7? But I am pretty sure the pt6 doesn't have a speed limiter by the way.

you can have your P06 chipped and then tuned by somebody who knows what they are doing. all this would probably cost around $300+ and yes you will gain some power, probably around 5 peak horsepower (maybe more maybe less)
doing this isn't worth the money unless you have more work done than just I/H/E

                haha tell me about it.

p.s. why do people want to remove the limiter on their cars so much? I know someone who did a gsr ecu in his cb7 near here.
I saw him in the autozone parking lot reving out his car pretending to do some kind of "diagnostics" now that he had this sweet new ecu.
It's already been said, but I'm putting the nail in the coffin on this. An ecu from another model car is not meant to run yours so don't
waste your money to just end up having to rebuild your own motor later. Granted if you're using it for a tune, that's another story, but
don't expect to make power by doing a straight swap.
