Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Anyone ever hear of this program?

      My h22 ran uberdata.

Crome is a lot more up to date than uberdata, and (I believe) it has more users. Neither will run on a non-chipped ECU, and our ECUs are not really chip-able. Grab a P28 if you're running a VTEC-equipped engine and chip it accordingly.

Or just chip it for Hondata. A lot more reputable tuners are willing to use Hondata; Bisimoto recommends it above the rest.

yea that website is no longer.... do you know what happened to it?

I wish there was a way to replace the dizzy for a COI type system to have finer control over timing for a F series engine

it is possible, but it will take a lot more time/money.

Trying to get more efficiency out of the engine. Would like the computer to control the timing to get more low end torque and whatnot. IT's really no big deal... WOuld like to adjust the fuel amounts too since I am using more ethanol in my car... around 50/50 ethanol and gas.

Hit up the AEM website for a complete COP setup. Make sure you have about $2200 + shipping just for the COP setup and EMS for your F series.

That will cover the following parts.

                1x AEM EMS $1500 ($800-1000 used)
                - Replaces the stock Honda ECU - It's the best over all of any out there. Beats Crome, Uberdata, eCtune for what you are looking to do. It's the only one that is set up for COP ignition systems.

                1x AEM EPM = $380
                - This engine position module replaces the stock Distributor

                4x AEM CDI Pencil Coils = $250
                - These replace stock coil and spark plug wires.

Note* The above prices are from ebay parts distributors.

Or you could spend the money and buy a newer car to modify for better MPG vs your 18 year old beater! JMO!

I believe the other one is called Crome, not Crone.

Crone, Crome no matter. Neither will run a COP/DIS setup on it's own.

Hondata, crome, and neptune work very well in my experience. What you need to do is find someone in your area that work with one of those programs and can dyno tune the car for you.

i believe you'll need a full standalone like Haltech or AEM EMS to run these. Honestly, I dont think it is worth it until you get very serious on your setup.
