Your thoughts on this muffler?

Well i just bought this muffler e bay part number 330213565511 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...romZR40QQfviZ1. They claim it out flows the flow master muffler. And seeing it's made by cherry bomb I'm sure it's going to have some rumble to it. Looks stock and is high flow. I hope it sounds good. Thats all. By the way my new exhaust set up is as follows. New ceramic header and downpipe 2.5in collector to a highflow cat 2.5in down to 2.25 then custom bent 2.25 from the cat back to this new muffler. I'm plaining on getting atleast a 18in resonator as well to help with any rasp... As far as i know no one had done this sort of hybrid type exhaust. Most f22's go 2.25in h22's go with 2.5in. But im doing 2.5in untill after the cat then 2.25. Hope to see some gains by doing this. Who knows.

companies can say whatever they want, if you are running a stright through design muffler, there isnt going to be that many mufflers that will outflow something that is already a stright design instead of baffled.

what im worried about is the quality and the sound.

Its weak. And its going to wear out in a hurry. Buy a good FULL exhaust, from Tanabe, RS*R, Apex'i, or even Magnaflow. IF you cant afford a full exhaust, save your money for one.

edit; if you want JUST the muffler, refer to a company I have listed, I'm pretty sure they sell universal stuff.

Explain weak? Cherry bomb has been around a long time. They make good shit for the domestics. But I'm not about to spend 300-500 bucks on a full exhaust just for bragging rights. This setup should preform just as well as any. Not to mention it's going to be free flowing and somewhat quite (Fingers Crossed)

agreed 100% But i figured seeing this one is not your typical glass pack style is really should not be as loud as that style. I did put some logical though behind it. But its only 30 bucks shipped so its not like I'm going to be out allot of bread. It was a toss up between this and the obx twin loop. But this one has a more stealthy stockish look to it.

I have the 2" one, you can get it at autozone for 20bucks. Sounds pretty good.

The turbo mufflers sound decent, I had one on my 84 Supra.
