Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    turbo search.

i have searched around and i have seen turbo prices range from $2500 to $4500.<<<<<that's fucking crazy

anyways i have read somewhere about a junk jard turbo etc. i also have hear that 4th generation accord can use some of the subb turbo sets etc.

so i went to the junk jard and saw a couple off subbs that still had the turbo in them.(that was cool)

not knowing what to take i came overhere for schooling.

so what would i need to get from other cars so i can build my own turbo set up.

i have seen subb subaru 1 supra etc. they all had the turbo in them.

so what should i take from this car in order to build a turbo for my f22. and i am looking only for 4 or 5 psi

you can basicly use any turbo from any car you want. you just have to find a way to connect it to the manifold.

I know this is an accordtuner link...but there is some good introductory junk yard turbo information there.

After you read that go to www.homemadeturbo.com and start browing and browsing.

it takes a lot of reasearch and reading but its all worth it in the end. just make sure you know everything there is to know about turbo before you go bolting shit on. like i said its a lot of work. but when you can get a functional turbo setup for $1100-$1200 its all worth it.

Take your time thats when good things come together. I plan to down the line get another cb7 and just boost it while i keep my allmotor one too that way i have the best of both worlds. Be sure to listen what these guys have to say and learn from their mistakes too.
