Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    LSD Problems...

does anyone know what the best lsd fluid is to use with a clutch type lsd? I've been told Motul 90PA, or even 75w120 Sunoco Oil...any help with this would be great, thanks!

Uhm, use Honda spec. IIRC just regular old MTF (in this case 10W-30 or similar)

Synchromesh and synchromesh friction modified. The smoothness of those gears man i tell ya. Just make sure its filled all the way at the top in the refil area until some spills out that means its filled.

do u mean the lsd clutch plate, or my actual clutch, the thought did cross my mind...cuz the motor did come off a track car, the lsd clutch plate could have been abused, but I wont b able to tell until I take apart the tranny.....no money left over right now, so I'm gonna wait to buy a new clutch, and at that time I'll take a look at it, might just end up replacing the plate on the lsd at the same time.....as to the fluid, Kaaz Gear Oil 80w90 ($150 Can.), been told by other clutch type lsd users that it is the best on the market.
