Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Speed Chip Killer

    this chip is holding up my performance, the other day i was racing a 91 teg ls, on the freeway and just when i was about to make my pass the chip kicks in at 115 ever since i got my 2.25 piping from the cat all the way back with a greedy sp2 muffler, car pulls harder at a higher rpm,

    MY QUESTION IS HOW DO YOU TAKE THIS STUPID THING OFF

    (that exhaust is not the one I have no more) i will post a picture soon

        change the ecu to a no governor ecu

          Like he said...is it something like ebay? Thats just a BS that you can put in the trash... Spend the money and get you a chipped ECU (not stock).... Most dont have the speed limiter....

            he has the stock ecu and he wants to get rid of the speed limiter. i think all you need is a chipped ECU.

                  Yea, you'd have to be pretty lucky to find one at the junkyard . You should look up a local shop and let them do it. Chipping your ecu is sensitive material. Look around on here too. I remember one memeber who chips ecu's?
