Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

i might recomend buying the best rod bearings and main bearings possible.. and upgrade that oil pump,, i do believe the oil squirts will not fit anymore with the 95mm crank,

Well if that is going to be your setup then i would just go with either rods. One way or another you are getting custom pistons, so if you go with the f22 crank and rods with custom pistons then more then likely your going to be fine and get a thicker head gasket. But use of the h22 rods will be basically the same cause your still getting custom pistons to accomodate the extra length of the h22 rods. But if it were me i would just go with the f22 crank and rods.

ok i was just put h22 or f22 rods because someone else said more stroke with short rods wasent safe thats why i put h22 rods to. d112crzy said it would be safer with the lenth of the h22 rods for reving higher then with f22 rods

I am sure it would be safer but your still running the risk of messing something up whether its long rods or short ones. Thats why i am still debating on whether or not i want to do this setup. But like i said before for you, your getting custom pistons regardless so piston to valve clearance should not be an issue for you.
