Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Piston Preference.

Like title states. What is/are you preference when it comes too aftermarket pistons?

im looking for 12.0:1 w/ n2o on this motor (closed deck h22a), so im looking for a piston that can withstand a nasty beating. i baby my cars through the week and beat the piss out of them on weekends.

Endyn's RollerWave pistons seem too be my fav as of now. a few of my friends have ran them with GREAT results. strictly designed too prevent detonation. 13:1 on a 120 shot for about 3 years now. it was a h/c n2o b18 then converted too a higher comp, ls/vtec on same shot. STILL NO PROBS. She daily drives it everyday (de-tuned now).

my options are still open though. they RollerWaves are pretty pricey, but for and h22 with its walls and shit, im going oo be spending the $$$ anyway.

chime in guys. support your answers with as many facts/links as possible.

i like and used the mahle piston we've been using them four about 3 1\2 years now and u dont have to sleeve the block with these pistons. i had 9:1 comp pistons for turbo. a friend of mine has the 12:1 comp pistons. they work great. both motors are still runnin

Anything else other than mahle you have to sleeve.
