Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

We've already covered that it works it's just that for a stock F22A you will hurt the power band.

i remember you saying you could take out the motor mount as long as you reinforce the others. is this true?

Yeah that can be done. There are allot of people that have done it with success. You'll have to search but I remember that the best way was to buy the Urathane resin that you could pour into the mounts. Let it sit for like a day and it would harden making the mount really good. The Window Weld reinforcement is a joke for the long term.

i was thinkin about puttin the h23 header on cuzl i eventually plan on doin a build up, but little by little, ima start off with a cam regrind, maybe from delta. then, i wanna get some head work done and maybe a new valve train. afterwards i wanna gets some 11:1 pistons from raceeng.com. if i do get those pistons would i also need to get rods and sleeves. so would the h23 header do me good then. i mean, i dont plan on boosting, or nitrous. i jus wanna go all motor. i also dont really plan on like 14's, not that i wouldn't mind it. i would like mid 15's. would that be enough to get me there or better??? but. yeah, i jus need some advice.
and sorry for not startin another thread but i kinda though it fit in
thanx,
frankie

the SFP h23a1 manifold clears the prelude front mount... you can use the prelude crossmember and front mount so you retain your front mount and dont have to worry about reinforcing the others.. the crossmember/mount swap is direct.

sorry to bring this back from the dead, BUT if you want to hit mid 15s? why throw all that money down the drain, i already hit 15.9 with my JDM F22BDOHC, and all i have is I/H
in fact, i keept the f22a1 manifold on the F22b cause i didnt want to weld the prelude one on, so im just gona wait and get a header for the f22a1 to use........that way i dont have to do any welding....H22 Prelude VTEC 92-96 200 161 10.6:1 87 90 DOHC VTEC 2157 JDM
