Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    stock h22 rods strenght

too what hp are the stock h22 rods good for? i dont want too get forged rods if my stock ones will do fine. stock rods are lighted than the basic crowers. itll be a built h22 on a 100 shot. im guessing ill only hit around 250 on the spray. the more i think of it, i might want too get rods, but idk.

ive built 2 spray motors before, so i know what im doing. that was with a d and b though.

Rods can handle the power just rod bolts might not. If your are building a motor might aswell get aftermarket rods. And the h22 has alot of rod options.

arp rod bolts are used in every motor ive built. rods arnt worth worth buying if they re not needed. the weight will actually slow it down.

at LEAST get 'em cryo treated while out... THAT'S worth the money of course, also use arp rod bolts

my theory is, if ls rods can hold up too 300hp, the h22's would be good too that also, bein a bigger motor and all. ill have the bottom end balanced, thats why im not really stressing the rods. id rather work with stock ones becaus they are significantly lighter.

                Ls's don't really rev past 7k tho.

also have a completely different rod/stroke ratio.

get stronger rod bolts and don't go crazy on the timing.
