Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

just find a dizzy from a 92-93 cb7 and make sure u get the resistor box with it. U won't be able to switch a couple of wires around with altering ur current dizzy alot to get the blaster coil 2 to hook up

go with the msd cap man, ive been there and done that, took me like a month to find the right shit.

i tried making a cap....didnt work, brought the cap for the msd 92-93 accord.....there not the same

i tell u what cap u need to get if u decided MSD.....the 92 LS integra cap, or the civic cap....(both the same)
        its a direct fit.

the cap ur looking at, it says 90-91 so maybe they made one for our cars sense i got mines, but dont get the (i think is spelled) Haticchi or something, they do not fit.

anyone wanna help me hook this damn thing up!? I got the SCI box, the blaster 2 coil, and a distributor cap off of a integra, 94-97..my friend wit a civic hb hooked it all up, and said this is the cap I need..so, whatever. Anyway, I know I gotta relocate the battery, so I got room for this stuff, but how must I hook it all up?

ok here goes, I don’t remember what wires are what color but im pretty sure you do so ill just say positive (+) and negative (-)….
              Remove the dist. Cap
(for internal coils) you should see the coil, the largest thing under the cap with a stem, 2 screws hold it in place remove them.
The hardest part of installing this is running the correct wires from the distributor.
After removing the coil there should be a few wires attached at the bottom end, I think there attached with screws.
Remove those screws but take note as to whats – and whats +, the symbols should be right over the screws telling u whats what.
U want to run the positive wire from the SCI to that positive wire that was on the stock coil u removed.
Do the same for the negatives, match the SCI negative to the stock coils negative.
Also forgot to say, u don’t need the stock coil anymore so set it aside and keep it just incase something goes wrong u can wire it back up.
Now from the SCI u should have another set of wires, - and + that go to the blaster coil.
Match the negatives up and the positives up.
              Find a good mount area.
Solder the wires for good connection, tape them.
Guide the wires out to the side of the distributor where the rest of them go out at, put the cap back on, PRAY…lol and crank it up

If u just have the blaster coil u do the same process, just eliminate the SCI, take the wires from the blaster coil (- and +) run it to the wires that came off the stock coil

              Hope that helped
