Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

don't believe the hype man, the h22a is slow!

But really now, it's a very nice diffrince. If you do the H22 engine and 5sp tranny swap you can expect a very nice increace in performence.

The H22 also makes a awsome all motor setup in our cars. you can get 200+HP to the wheels with I/H/E, cams, ECU, VAFC and a bit of tuning. not bad at all from a little 2.2L inline 4 banger

Edit: In stock form the H22 puts down ~170HP to the wheels.
the F22 will put down ~125WHP.

eh.. u wish.. ive seen stock dynos of them putting down in the 160 range.. not 170... still an impressive motor

but now.. compare it to a f22b dohc.. it gets alot closer

My base runs from my JDM H22A:

                Mods Blue Run:
                - eBay Header
                - Resonated test pipe
                - 2.5" mandrel bent Bullet brand cat-back
                - MSD SCI-L
                - Crane cams fireball PS92 coil
                - eBay short ram
                * Everything else is OE.

                Mods Red Run:
                - Everything above + Zex 55 shot.

                ECU for both these runs:
JDM P13 running Spoon knock off program, Stock fuel and ignition maps, just lower vtec crossover, higher rev limit, no speed limiter.

170whp is easy with an H22 swap.... easy.

i just said STOCK h22a output isnt 170whp.. no way did my statement say it was hard to reach 170whp.. nice run btw.. u made 177whp.. with your mods.. remove them and i bet ur back somewhere in the 160s... bleh.. im not bashing just correcting the reply about them being 170whp..

need a lil more than that

This was my dyno sheet, I have injen shortram intake,JG throttlebody, Prospeed/Elite headers, custom exhaust piping 2 1/2" w/ Trust muffler, JUN stage 3 cams+valvetrain kit, vortech fpr, and Hondata S200. Stock block and head!!! The JUN cams are awesome along with a good header, kept making power all the way to redline at 8400, but my injectors are at 100% duty cycle right now at 7800.

dang, well it's still a nice diffrince from the F22 esp if you are going from a slush box only putting ~100HP to the ground (stock) to a H22 with those short gears

                          nice dyno & setup there!!

if you really wanted to go all out on the engine you could add some cylender sleves, rods, higher compression pistions and port ant polished head should be looking at ~220-230 to the wheels.

A light flywheel and stage 2-3 clutch would also be a nice idea.

The h22 rules bro. You dont have to struggle much or have to worry about it blowin up except when you turbo it. I liked it more for an allmotor application anyway just the sheer raw power of it.
