I was just wondering if any on here had any headwork done to there f22a head and who did it and how are the results and if you think it was worth it. Thanks

Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

the head got shaved on my sisters accord if that counts??
45 thousanths..
hehe..
pros:
faster accleration
second gear feels like first accel wise
alot more torque
Cons:if its done wrong you could leak oil
running lean due to such a high compression ratio
i installed a dc sports header about 1 week ago or a lil more
and was getting a fuel supply Cel
installed a 0-1.0v a/f gauge and its reading lean the entire time
so im thinking the ecu is thinking that there is a problem with fuel delivery when there isnt.. the car runs flawless..
so i got to find a way to richen it up..
but the power increase with the header on really let use of that milled head..
bleh im done ranting

Yea that sounds like it could be dangerous...they really have to get it even and right. I wanna get mine milled to ~10.6-11.0, but on the stock ECU that's prob. not a good idea at all I'm guessing...

oh hell no...
for a mill I wouldn't pay more than $80 max... I paid like 65-70...
for a good 3 angle valve job I would pay about 250-350 max...
milling is cheap and can be done in an afternoon if you are nice and completely disassemble the head for them.... unless thye are really busy like most good machine shops are and you can end up waiting a week or more...
and I've done some portwork on both F22 heads and mani's...with good results...
the thing you'll realize after seeing some pro done heads and mani's is that street work is pretty mild and mostly cleanup with a little reshaping and that's it...
the only exception is extrude honing... the manifold I saw that had been ported then extrude honed was absolutely beautiful...RIP Lifsatrip7

But if you have all the bolt ons, a wideband O2 and an AFC honestly I don't see why it couldn't make a good 15+. While I'll probably just get my head milled I think lightweight rods and pistons would definitely yield more with the same gain in compression...but anyone's guess is as good as mine. Def. a good mod for the $$ IMO.92 DA9 // 93 D21 4x4 // 92 CB7

The headwork on the F22a1 has been finally shipped to Michigan, I have to pick it up however. I had a guy from CHR in Colorado do the work, so I have yet to see how well it was done. I had a valve job done, new valve stem seals, port & polish, etc done.
Whenever I get the engine running, I'll let ya all know. But it won't be for a while.

since he posted that he had one for sale.. so do i. Its a rebuilt head for the f22a1. It was run on for 10-15 minutes, and thats it. There was a bad head gasket... leaked oil, so i just decided to put an h22. I wont have the head for sale until I make sure I have everything off of it that I can or will need for the h22, but should be for sale in 3 weeks or so. So if anyone is interested...
