From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

I'll hit you up when i'm close to swapping the motor, i bought a "2001 Ford Windstar" that i'm going to insure in the next couple weeks and use is as my daily driver & family car (VAN). cuz my cb is my daily driver from work to home.

I once pondered the same thing. i thought the H was the only plug-n-play engine, but then i was told about the f20b. I saw it and was like, "holy cow, im doing that!" but then i realized that, ultimately, the H wouldbe best for me.

I may be biast on this, but i also feel that it depends on the person and the car. For some reason, i can see almostJDM toting the f20b. i dunno why, but just loking at his pics..it seems right.

And deev has a point, were a nation of ppl one site. Depending on where you live, you may be the only guy in your 'hood/city/county or even city with a swapped CB7. Regardless of motor.

            and also cost

over here, an F20B halfcut costs less than an equivalent H22a from a CD6 or CF2 (SV4 wagon)

and also availability. since the SV4s are over 10 yrs old, halfcuts are getting hard to come by, just like our SM4s.

most shipments that reach are CF4s. and im also anticipating more to come, since the CF4 is 10 years old this year, and many owners are scrapping them up.

thats why many SM4s and SV4s here are swapping in the F20B. Complete with tiptronic yo.

and over here, our government implies roadtax based on engine capacity. Over the course of a year, the H22 costs RM200 (60 bucks) more compared with the F20B.

              you are exzactly right.
i am the only kitted accord around here that even looks close to half way done correct, and all the others total within a month so at the moment i am the only accord around my city that is fixed up at all, and for the motor swap, half the people in this neck of the woods just dream about stuff like that,, it never becomes a reality. thus i am the only h22 accord here, and half of the people love it the other half don't give a hoot.. but either way.. I love it,

With the tiptronic auto tranny? If it's possible to run one of those with normal axles, that'd be awesome for anyone with an auto! The wiring would be a mess to figure out, but it'd be lots of fun once it was done!

                  thats what i was wondering

most of the guys that run the SiR F20B, swapped into either a CB or CD, never had to use custom axles as far as i know.

infact, i know 5 people that have the tiptronic in their CB and CDs.

wiring was a piece of cake, since we get the original harness from the junked CF4.

I wonder if icedplaya123 would want to do that instead of converting to 5 speed... we keep talking about swapping and converting, but as far as I know, there are NO people on here with a tiptronic!

one thing for sure, the tiptronic shifter is not a direct fit into our CB.

the CD yes, with very minimal trimming. but for our CBs, its different. the bolt holes are spaced differently.

ive tried it before, and my linkages are either too short or too slack. i have the shifter under my bed right now.

so to make things easy, i just used my normal CB shifter.

my buddies with the CDs are driving around town, tipping all day. slapping the lever into a higher gear LOL.

becoz they can and becoz the shifter fits nicely.

just to make it a lil more confusing for y'all

The ONLY good reason to want the F20B is to be different... to have something that's a little less common. If that's your reason, go for it.

the h22 is easier to swap, uses the accords harness, only have to wire up 2 wires, uses the accords engine mounts, and less headache to swap.

the f20b on the other hand is a 2000 honda accords sir motor. more work needs to be done to swap it, you need to buy a harness or build your own. and is much more of a headache to swap, but i believe you could use honda f22a parts on someparts and i dont know where to find the rest.

the f20b is just like swapping in the h22 theres no difference cept youll have to solder the obd2 injector clips on the accord harness and if your car doesnt have an internal coil dizzy then youll have to get another dizzy, and just like the jdm h22 youll have to swap over then fuel rail, everything else you can use the accord parts just like the h22
