Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

If you already have an H22, it'd be dumb to put any money into getting another motor. You could pull your H22 and sell it for what, $1000 if you're VERY lucky? I've seen them go for $800, or even $500. I could BUILD one for about $500, with newer parts throughout!

You could pull considerably more power from your current motor with the money you'd spend to upgrade. ESPECIALLY if you go S or R. The F20B isn't really an upgrade... it's the same thing, only with different attributes (close enough to the H22, with a higher redline and a narrow powerband... the tradeoff makes it about equal in terms of enjoyment, IMO)

My advice? Drop $700 into a good Zex dry nitrous kit, bottle warmer, and remote bottle opener. Run a 50 shot ONLY. You'll have fun with that

When I say everyone has one what i should have said is that it is the most common swap in out cars.I want to do a swap in my car either a F20b or a H22A but i don't know which one is better or even which motor is lighter.Im working on doing minor Weight reduction Mods so i want a pretty light weight but good performance motor.

ima have to say that they are about the same weight..
wanna lose 50 pounds easyly get a cf hood and some more weight take out your ac power steering and get a carbon trunk. and maybe your choice of wheels would save you weight also.

If you're doing this for weight, you've started on the wrong platform.

The Accord is heavy no matter what... go for torque to compensate. Of course, light weight or extra torque will both fall to the one major failing of these cars... FWD.

F20B Rulezzz!!! Well i want to be unique, and still rock a "2.0 200Hp DOHC VTEC" motor under the hood. it dosent even matter if you loose to a h22 cb7,i mean why should it? at the end of it you still have a "DOCH VTEC" motor. Over here in my area theres alot of h22'd accords running around with no work done to them just the motor swap.

When i swap my f20b, i'm sure i'll be waxing some ass!
                      P.S. i'll post videos

isn't that sad, people swap to the h22 and leave it stock....
to each their own,, but imagine if you put say another $500- $1000 into that h22.. you could really open her up even more, and beat any other just h22 swap...

I can. People are satisfied with the H22. People don't want more power.
People don't want to spend the extra money.
People don't know exactly what they should do.

I'm sure some other people have more reasons. Everyone does something for a reason that makes sense to them....

This is true. Some people with stock H22A are already in the low 15 range. Some bolt ons to open upi and let it breathe will launch it into the mid to high 14 with a sticky set of tires. People have dont it and so on. Also quality parts for the h22a are NOT cheap yet people still buy replica shit that works half ass. Like me since I am just waiting for bisi to come out with an affordable header for the h22a instead of dropping 1g or so into an SMSP.
