Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Custom Exhaust

    K guys.. I have a bit of a confusion or misunderstanding, or whatever you want to call it.. I just got this today... http://www.k2motor.com/mf-rs310.html
    When i go to get it welded, will I have to ask for only a 2.5 adapter pipe to go to the exhaust.Or will I have to change out all of my pipes to a 2.5. I have a 90 ex coupe. Mines arent even a 2.25... How much will it cost to weld on this muffler with an custom 2.5 leading to the exhaust?

    Depends on the shops rate your gonna have to negotiate with them. I paid 250 ish for mine and I brang them the muffler. IF your gonna adapt it to stock piping all the muffler is gonna do is make noise. But they can do it.

      mine costed 90 for piping and 45 for muffler welded on. (so i paid for labor and piping)

        mine is all custom from header and back mandrel bent and it cost me around 1200 total with parts and labor. big difference
        either kill it or drift it...

            I still hadnt even welded it yet. Its just sitting up in my room..lol. So what if I asked to start the 2.5 piping where the resonator stops all the way to the muffler. What do you guys assume he would charge?
