Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Not rebuilding, just tweaking a little bit

    This is my car specifications:
    1992 Honda Accord LX
    2.2L F22A1 SOHC
    2156cc Displacement
    125hp@5200RPM

I want to add these parts to my 138,781 mileage engine: cold air intake, ehxaust system and headers, mabye a turbo, cam gears, fuel rail, injectors, fuel pump, F22a6 cam and a H23 Intake Manifold. Would there be any difference in my 125hp engine if these parts are added?

    ~DirtySouthHonda

P.S. My car is an automatic. I can't drive manual shift, yet. Would it make a difference in performance? Also, I'm not rebuilding the engine or doing a swap because I want to work with what I got for now.

I can tell you're not ready to turbo, just stick with the other mods.

You will definitely feel a difference (mostly in the top end) with the exhaust, header, F22A6 cam, and H23 intake manifold. However, you will NOT need a new fuel rail, injectors, or pump.

I would say all those mods would add up to around 145-150 crank HP depending on the quality of parts.

I don't remember the last time my definition of "tweaking" involved such things as a turbocharger setup. Going into such a delicate task of turbo charging your car, without full knowledge of how to do it properly, WILL be catastrophic.

think turbo much later(or untill you get a manuel tranny). you don't need a fuel rail, but a new fuel pump could be usefull. and getting the injectors cleaned & flow bal. wouldn't hurt. and instead of a A6 cam i'd get a bisimoto or a delta cam. and look into getting a pt6(f22a6) ecu. or a chipped ecu from MRX.
            hope it helps.
