Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    radiator?

ok im getting ready to put my turbo h22 into my car and im looking for an aftermarket radiator...i am going to keep my ac...im not looking for huge power numbers...prob just like 275-300hp...ive read about doing a civic half radiator and ive read about koyos and fluidynes...i was looking at getting a fluidyne civic half radiator, would that work to cool my engine? i know that the fluidyne civic radiators arent dual core but that they have bigger tubes...also does koyo make an aluminum civic half radiator? i looked on their website and on performance shop websites and it just had a generic picture of a full size koyo and didnt state the size of the radiator...i know questions like this have been posted on here cause i read through them but i couldnt seem to find all the info i need...could somebody help me with what direction i should go? and taking out the ac is not an option...

most civics come with half radiator. you should be fine with either. im also going to buy one to so i could push the intercooler all the way up against the radiator. so tell me how it works out for you.

My friend is running an ebay mishimoto for his f22a turbo setup. Still works even after he got into an accident. DUnno if you want a cheaper alternative. How big of a turbo are you running? Anyway just make sure applications is for a 92-95 civic EX/SI those were the ones with the dual core radiators as I recall.

I think it was just the automatic ones.

Yea I forgot I think the Del SOl had a dual core also. Its been a while. IT would be easier to search HT.

well here is my experience and it may or maynot help you decide.

I also have an H22 turbo 8psi using a civic dual core half size radiator, since every aftermarket make all metal dual core for civic I went with an ebay one to save cost. Now in summer time 90+degree heat and with my AC on I start to overheat after a long drive, now there is several factor that could result in my overheating..1. I have an AUtomatic 2. I have A huge *ss Intercooler taking up almost the whole front bumper blocking the Radiator. 3. I still have my AC and that AC condensator also block air to the radiator. 4. I only have one cooling fan left. Well I got the overheating issue fix, when shop added an 2nd container which hold another gallon of coolent.

This is my experience and you might not experience the same thing. From what I read so far, H22 turbo with 5 speed tend to work fine with just an any brand dual core 1/2 size radiator and slim fan.
