Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Hey,
    So, I have the short ram intake, i have a high flow cat and a cat back magnaflow exhaust.

    I'm going to get DC headers or something soon (whenever my downpipe rots out).

    My question:
    What intake manifold should I get?
    I found the intake manifold from an EX. I think its from a 90, but I think it'll still work.
    Should I get the intake manifold from an EX or from an H22/H23?

    A '90 EX manifold is going to be the same or worse than any manifold you could have in your car right now. Unless yours is broken. The H23 manifold is a pretty good one to get and many have seen respectable gains with it. Some have also used the H23 upper plenum with lower runners from an F22A6(92-93 EX/SE) for good gains as well. It's all about where you want to make power. But seriously, this has been covered way too many times.
