Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

only prob is that if u don't have supporting mods like fuel and engine management upgrades that thing could be really deadly to an engine. There are similiar kits out that use c02 on the market with the same concepts. And if i'm not mistaken after ambient air tempterature there aren't extreme benefits to more horsepower??? like the density of air becomes more exponential at below 0 degrees and from 0 degrees up to about 70 degrees is not so much of a dramatic density change that it would matter for an engine. Its like if u extened a cold air intake to stick out where the passenger side headlight is and drove around in -30 degree weather it would gain some hp but not so much that it'd be ground shaking and asphalt ripping...i think i'm going to confuse alot of ppl on this post lol. I do like the scavenger idea for the exhaust tho. Thats all simple thermal dynamics.

I was thinking of doing something similar, but using R134a... Basicaly just building a valved unit that would just be a second A/C evaporator unit in an air box. With the addition of a smalll storage tank, you could charge up the tank, switch off the A/C, and run without the A/C on, but have a reusable system that works with an existing part of the car. It would most likely require custom hoses, fitting, and pipes, but wouldn't be that difficult to build...
