From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    cheap exhaust

    any body heard and/or saw one of these exhausts?

    I want to buy a cheap exhaust but i want one that angles up and toward the passenger side. anyone know if this will acheive what i'm lookin for and does this sound ricey or is it pretty deep? It will be started with a f22a4 temporarily, then dc sports ceramic header, stock converter, then that. I also drive like an asshole.

    best bet is to buy a round canister muffler, bring it to a muffler shop, and tell them how you want it angled

      x2 thast what I did. Most exhausts are going to aim straight from factory unless you bend the piping that comes with it which isnt a good idea. Yo u can create bottlenecks in the piping and shit. Plus if you fuck up you fuck up.

        make sure you tell them to drive like an asshole as well.

        that way they can make it extra custom for you

        you better throw a resonator on that though. check out the Apexi N1 styles, those look pretty illin

            just buy a megan muffler and get the muffler shop to use some 2.25 piping from the cat and back, and angle it up at the back, like the wrx's and lancer's.

              also, with angled mufflers, if you're lowered, just hope you don't smack that extra bend at the end before the muffler going over bumps

                  hey it don't fucking matter now because i just got burnt a second time. two weekends in a row. so i don't have a cb7 on the way. i'm stuck with a nice car, with a nice motor, that rides and handles nice. THAT I NEVER WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. but hey i don't care, i just wish people would grow up and make there own deals not have there parents and significant others get involved. Oh did i mention that i don't want to do anything to this car anymore because i hate 94-97 body styles, i hate the interiors, i really just don't like this car. i should have never bought it..
