Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

cool man. hope u enjoy it. i cant wait to throw mine on.

i noticed it doesnt have the intake air temp sensor. you got one lined up? and is it me or could he have opened up the injector ports a lil wider (kinda hard to tell in the pic)..... u dont want the injector spray pattern disrupted...no drips!! lol

anyways good luck with it man.

yeah i know they are supposed to be ported.....i was thinking they looked a bit narrow still..... like i said, its hard to tell.

anyways the H22 does have the iat sensor....just cant mount to the euroR mani. not the same style sensor.

Most IAT sensors are the same, as long as it fits the many.

DO NOT chance reusing an IM gasket. Most likely it will break when you take the mani off anyway.

I would recommend a Hondata, or similar phenolic IM gasket. Helps keep temps down, and it is reusable.

Hmmm I'll probably just drop down the 50 dollars for the hondata IM gasket. Hopefully the junkyard will have that type of IAT sensor for me to "borrow" (if you know what I mean)

hmmn, you guys got one thing wrong... The skunk2 mani actually does flow more than than the Euro-R OR the stock usdm h22 mani.

Thats not a bad thing though in this case, the skunk2's runners were just designed too big and too long. The shorter and smaller diameter runner of the Euro-R keeps the velocity up and thats why it does as well as it does. Its all about the volumetric efficiency and not so much the flow, at least in an n/a application.

I say buy it, its a hell of a deal anyways and afaik nobody makes a copy of the Euro-R manifold, its not like it came on a civic where everyone and their mom wants one. Imo the market/demand isn't big enough for someone to want to make a copy of it, and the price they go for is right on par with all the other factory honda manifolds so what would be the point?

There is no lower part, its a one piece single stage manifold (no iab plate)

A little port matching of the injector area is required, and with the use of a hondata gasket it bolts on just fine. (otherwise the top of the flange would need to be clearanced slightly).
