Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Lets talk about f22 turbo builds

Okay my setup is plain and simple it consists of
forged n50 pistons with rings 20 oversized
    pauter connecting rods
    stock oem honda bearings
gaskets seals new oil-pump,water pump etc.
    Stock head.

I wanna know whats the best should i go with in rods?
where to find some good decent priced rods for the money?
    Who makes them?
what pistsons are interchangable with what rods to go boost If they dont have them for the f22 which ones can we use because it seems noone loves our motors that much anymore.

    What are n50 pistons?

Pistons for the 85mm bore are such a bitch to find, I tried and the only ones i seen that I would get are the arias ones. There is the Dh racing ones but how good they are is still a toss up at this time.

Rod's, Well peuter makes good light weight rods, then eagle makes good rods also but if you are going for a lightweight rotating assembly go for the peuter's, if you are on a budget you can get the eagle h beams.

Honestly your response to this thread hasnt helped out not one bit. Im trying to go more in detail so that everyone can atleast know what to do as far as custom wise. Not for just for someone to say search and read up some more thats no help at all. Thats no different from someone from honda-tech saying search noob. When the search task is already fubared. I want everyone to know including myself whats the best rods wheres the best place to get them from ,who makes them and how much.

exospeed also makes custom pistons for the f22, but the custom setup is the way to go if your on a budget can get the rod/pistons for like 900-1000.00 rather then the 1200.00 that most sites want for the ff2 rod/piston setup race eng.com has it for 1200.00 with wiseco pistons and crower rods

and some more advise, toga hv oil pump, use a restrictor on the feed line just to be safe, larger oil pan, upgrade your bearings if you plan on going over 6000rpms daily, get another cam for the stock head, they do wonders paired with a cam gear. I know i don't have to mention tuning to you, and as far as the f/h interchangeability, check ciscos thread

and if you have the ability to get h22 rods and pair them with a crank/piston combo that works, h22 rods are generally a hella lot cheaper

my plan was to use h22 rods as well..now am going mild mild build though.

Got eagle H22 rods for cheap...less than 250 i think.
Then get raceeng to make custom weisco's for you for around $550 with rings...that's the last i was quoted...although aparantly others have been quoted more.

as far as ciscos thread care to enlighten us with the mixing and matching with the h22 rods with f22 custom pistons? Or just provide a thread for us for all of us to see.

Comon people someone out there has to know about building our f22 engines for boost properly. This is sad that noone has any kind of real info on how to help us out.
