Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

NEED help! going f22a6 from f22a1

Hi anybody here have done a intake manifold swap from f22a6 to a f22a1. I'm going to get a 92 coupe lx I want more power out of it so is it hard to swap it. Do I use the ex ecu (pt6) something like that to switch the lx ecu. I don't know how ecu works, but can you switch it to any other ecu to add hp to it?...... Where is the intake manifold located at. how can you tell if it a duel intake manifold? Can anybody help me on how to do the swap or direct me to it. Thanks a lot.

why are you going from a f22a6 to a f22a1?
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

You should swap in the A6 camshaft and exhaust manifold (or a header) to maximize your gains.

If you can save up a bit more, you could put a lil more thought into all this and get better results than a f22a6....but if your end goal is to match a f22a6 setup, so be it. People are not going to double take on a stock Accord setup, that's my take on all this.

But if you must a f22a6 ECU iss needed (match the ECU with ur type of trans ...auto or manual). I also noted fuel pressure regulators to be of different part #'s than the f22a1/a4, but Kabuki could verify this....since he is the parts master

Man, if my dad would only let me part out our 91 SE, I'd make some $$ everyone interested in this.
