    Non-Ricer Good Muffler?

Im looking for a better muffler since I am getting tired of the ricer noise. Im looking for a muffler that has the sound of a G35 coupe or 350z. real deep sounding with out the loud, cop recognizing tuner sound. Help me out...

WS2 with a resonator kind of has that G35/350z sound, or atleast to me it does, i have the whole cat back but i beleive you could achieve it with a good long resonator and the universal muffler...

if it sounds like shit, you need a resonator.

but you might as well get a full catback. be it custom or one of those prefabbed, just replace that rusted pipe.

I would like the "stock sleeper" type muffler that has that deep sound that doesnt bounce off of every building you pass by. I looked at the WS2 and thats alittle too expensive for me.

what do you have now? i suggest getting a resonator and see (hear) how you like it then. most mufflers are never matched with a resonator resulting in poor sound. that's why full cat-backs such as WS2 and Greddy are expensive. quality and sound are primo!

i have the RSR Ex-Mag and i dont think it loud at all... whats loud is my CAI at WOT... i get a lot of surprised looks when i step on it right next to someone cause ive been told it sounds like hell opening up... im sure if i removed the CAI my car would be similar to a stock STI or SRT-4... just my two cents...

Right now I have a HKS Hiper Muffler, its not loud until I really get on it. Once I heard my friends 350z, I wanted that same sound and the look of a "stock-ish" muffler.

If u want a G35 sound, y not try sourcing a G35 muffler from a local junk yard and get it fitted to your exhaust system...

it might work with the right resonator.

Or get Honda muffler from another car like the RSX, new Civic Si, or even the new accords or TL's

well from my personal experience this one was used for my turbo setup it wasnt so bad.

it was a 3 through in exhaust inlet and outlet. The piping was 2.25 with a resonator it sounded pretty good

this one on the other hand is perfect especially when living in the city its nice and quiet you can sneak up on people. Its basically a apexi ws whateverwhatsgoodinthehood exhaust without all the overpriced chrome hype.

And having a look like this will attract less cops they usually think if you got a muffler with a big tip outlet you probably got some money for them. Not the case with me they look at my car scan my plates and keep it moving.

i suggest an obx twinloop. gone through alot, and that one was still my favorite.

other than that, my next would be the ws1/2... only reason its 2nd, is cause a catback is alot more expensive than a $80 muffler.

btw, nothing will make your car sound like a Z... its not really the muffler that makes it sound like that, its the motor that does it. for instance, the exhaust i have on my car is a straightthru design... on an accord, it would probably sound like shit. yet on my car, still damn quiet. especially considering its the loudest exhaust made for my car.
