    Magnaflow or flowmaster...

    Alright, so here's the deal....
i'm tired of my exhaust already(lil too raspy/loud), so i had 2 ideas in mind...

    MeganRacing header/MeganRacingresonator/Magnaflow catback(includes another resonator)
    or
    MeganRacing header/Flowmaster Hushpower II 2.25"resonator/Flowmaster 60 Series Delta Flow muffler 2.25" C/O/custom 2.25" piping...

and yes, i'm looking for a nice low and deep sound

    any suggestions/opinions?

Both will give low resonations, (sound deep) but Flowmaster will tend to be more raspy. If I were to use either, I'd use a LARGE resonator to keep it a little more "low key" around town. In the end, I'd try the delta series Flowmaster first...... I used to be a V-8 truck guy and that's my preference right now.

Magnaflow is good. I have custom 2.25" piping to a Magnaflow muffler, and it sounds nice, reaaalllll nice. I've gotten compliments from many people, so I'd vouch for #14805.

I had the 60 seriers flowmaster on my car with stock piping and it sounded really good. Not like a muffler you would by at pepboys and throw on. The only reason I got rid of it is because I wanted a full catback system and got a great deal on the Evo 2 exhaust.

So every1 would agree that the full FlowMaster set-up w/ 2.25" piping and MeganRacing header will do da trick?

                      (this is jen)

IMO the Magnaflow route is your best bet. I had magnaflow full catback on my accord when I had it. It's stainless, unlike the flowmaster, which was my original choice. Being that I'm from the "rust belt" that really swayed me into getting the magnaflow. It wasn't that loud, unless I got on it. I also had a Megan racing header on it too. It got a little louder when I got on it, but it didn't sound raspy at all. The one I had only had the single tip too and it wasn't a huge tip either. This is what the exhaust looks like.

The members name is both mine and my boyfriend(Chris). I put my name before my posts because a few people were giving me a hard time. They couldn't tell if it was me or Chris when we posted, so I decided to do that to be a wiseass back to them(I know that they were joking around). It just became a habit. That's who I am......

                          Anyways...

Go with what you want. I was kinda biased in my other post. I just went from my own experiences. The Flowmaster was my original choice because somebody who ran a shop that I knew said it was quiet, which is what I wanted because too loud=annoying.

TekSi = thnx A WHOLE LOT for your opinion

                            But my guess was....
Magnaflow is a straight-thru design while flowmaster is chambered, and you know what chambered means , lower/deeper tone(from what i know).

And since i wanna run a MeganRacing header, i was thinking a straight-thru design would get a lil loud no matter what, while in da other hand, da Hushpower II resonator AND da 60 series muffler would have no option BUT for it to b nice and deep

If any1 disagrees w/ my ideas of this set-ups, PLEEAASE correct me, always up to learning
