From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Just get some pliers or a vice-grip. When i received mine, thatshit was tight as a mofo. Hell it still is, i dont even need to put the screw and nut on.

try to take it out when its hot...now dont go grabing it with your hand unless you like a burnt hand...and use some needle nose pliers...metal expands when its hot so it might be a lil easier to remove.

just save some time and leave it in. back when i just had a straight open muffler is was deep and loud, and i liked it for a bit... but it gets irritating. and trust me, accords being the boats they are... youre gonna want all the backpressure you can get.

I leave mine in most of the time also. IT is so loud and deep, it began to kill me. I only heard it in the low rpms . I just keep it in now. Good option though.

MIne was stuck to, i tried everything and killed my back, I got it out by using the L shape crowbar, stick the short end in and pull towards urself, do it all around the edges, it will bend and fuck up ur silencer but it will still work.

just go to a muffler shop. i had them take mine off my n1 and it only ended up costing me $15. it may just be worth the money to not put up with the grief.

I always wondered if anyone had any hard core proof on the old backpressure-leave-in-silencer thing? Do you know of any dynos? or 1/4 mile times? thanksz
