Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Passed Emissions

    Very excited. I'm running uberdata 1.66, tuned by me, on a 14b, open loop, oil hasn't been changed in 3000 miles(I know bad), fouled plugs, plugs are gapped wrong, and I passed. I don't know how, my parents took it there, and they just let me know. So I guess passing isn't that hard

    SWEET!!! Good to know it doesn't take much effort to actually pass with a heavily modified engine lol... well at least down south, hopefully its no more difficult with the emmissions up north here...

      i don't think any engine i've personally tuned has actually failed emissions yet...usually the techs are astonished lol. Good job on your tuning Robert!!!

        You said it! When I got mine done my tech said my emissions were lower than some new cars I still have the sheet somewhere since I was so proud I passed. Congrats Robert! I know how big a deal it is to pass.
