From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    H22 tranny mated with an F22a6 motor?

    Hey guys I recently talked to deever about his swap.
    I asked him if it was possible to use a f22 gearbox with a an H22 swap but he told me, you could but...the downside is the gears used in the f22 are longer...which prompted me to ask this....What would happen if I used the h22 5spd tranny in my f22a6?

    Oh man.... you'll die...




















    from the mind bending G forces produced by the better accelerating shorter gears....





















    not really....you'll just accelerate faster than w/ an F tranny.... and be at like 4k rpms at 80 in 5th... and lose some gas mileage...

        I heard from a little bird you can change the final drive gear ratio on the boxes...an H23 w/the 4.06 from the F-box would be ideal IMO. Can anyone confirm this?
