Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    JDM Top Fuel Power Chamber

    I'm waiting for my Top Fuel Power Chamber to come in the mail. It should arrive sometime at the end of next week. I know alot of members are using 92up Prelude intakes for their F-DOHC or H-motors. So far i've either heard or seen OEM USDM, JDM OEM Type-S, AEM V2's, and thanks to JDM kid for proving a J's Intake can fit....so what else fits?

    I thought I'd get one of these to be different and to try something new to shoehorn in our engine bay. I want to test out how well it performs compared to the CP '97 CAI I currently now have.(does the fat carbon section make anoticeable difference than a slim alluminum intake) I will show the fitment issues on running this in a CB7 chassis and give reviews whether it's worth the money or not etc. This was originally for a 92-96 prelude and one thing I already think I may run into is my ABS and Battery location. I'm hoping I can just tilt the battery sideways without having to relocate it but we'll see.

    im very intersted in how this is gunna turn out. i always wanted an intake that was a little more flashy than the old aluminum tube stand by. btw, where did you find it, if youdont mind me asking???

        Bump, there is a Accord on ebay with a Top Fuel intake on its H22, looks like it should fit no problem. Where did you get yours?

          What year Accord had this intake in?

          I mine used and payed dearly for it. I got it from a engine shop that got a prelude in that happend to have it on. I did a rough test fit and damn... freakin ABS is in the way and also the battery which was going to be an obvious. The "carbon chambered part" i didn't realize was going to be that tight of a fit. I bet in a DX or LX this would be a complete breeze. I could apply padding so it'll have a cushion and won't eventually put a hole in the carbon section but now I have to wait till I can borrow maybe my friends civic battery to see how it does. My sister has a 93 prelude and I think I might just throw it on there and compare it to her AEM intake when she has a day off.

            I've decided to sell the intake, I have other priorities to settle with my car with smog and + i don't really want to relocate my battery or buy another battery. I hate jdm spontaneous buys! Someone with a DX or LX buy this and finish this thread!

                ractive makes the same thing for 60 bucks with the air chamber. i know cause i had it 4.5 years ago

                  Bleah, either way its JDM bling y0. Plus, my battery is in the trunk and I have no ABS, so it should be a bolt on affair.
