Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Custom cat-back is good.

Anything cannister type, ala N1 sytle will get you the raspy-bees in a can tone. I hate that tone to death...

Regardless, if you want a deep, throaty tone, Magnaflow is just the thing for that..albeit loud even with a resonator. I have a custom magnaflow setup on my Lude and im sick of how in-car loud it is...outside the tone is fantastic...believe me.

check out their huge Magnaflow section.

Take a look at motorcycles. Look at their exhaust. It's the cannister type.

If you really want to know how your Accord sounds, tell your friend to drive it back and forth past you...like a drive-by and then sudden deaccelleration. This is known as the "dopler" effect. If you like what you hear, keep your system. If you dont, change the damn muffler.
A resonator will tone down the exhaust, as the exhaust gases will get bumped around before entering the muffler, thus decreasing sound waves and backfire...

:::The muffler is the culprit. Change the muffler if you want quietness. It's not the piping.
