Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Fuel Injectors & Performance Builds

Random thought to strike up a conversion...

I know many of you are building up DSM turbo setups on F22's etc and buying used DSM injectors from who knows where. Even naturally aspirated people get used larger injectors from who knows where. I haven't seen too many purchase new ones.

Anyhow, how many of you doing a performance build actually stopped to think...you know, I'm installing USED injectors into my PERFORMANCE build. Maybe I should have them cleaned and flow-balanced before installing them and on top of it, tuning my setup with possibly dirty, unbalanced injectors that are robbing me of power I should be making.

    Thoughts?!?!

www.cruzinperformance.com > Cleans and flow-balances injectors for hella cheap. I'm sending both my F22 and H22 injectors there for both my projects.

      another great and informative write-up

i personally didn't clean and flow test my injectors; the shop took care of that for me, but definetely something not to forget about when building up a motor, whether it'd be for a NA or boosted application.

its not the outside that needs to be cleaned its the inside. Dirty insides make for bad spray patterns and in some cases less fuel being delivered.

I bought mine local from a DSM friend. 2 of mine are new, the other two he assured me were perfectly fine also and would replace them if necessary. I never expected my setup to last this long and at the time of install i didn't have an extra $100 to get them cleaned with. But when i find some evo injectors i'll be sure to clean and balance them.

Bro, it's only $48 + shipping (4 injectors) to get this done at the link I specified in the first post.
